James Trevor Lucier III, born in 1993 in Monterey, California, is an art-folk musician whose work blends intimate songwriting with a wide range of sonic textures. Active since 2020, he has developed his sound while moving from the Bay Area to Austin, Texas, and now to the eclectic art scene of Roseburg, Oregon. He performs solo and with his ensemble, James and the Lost Dogs, and sings tenor in the vocal jazz group The Umpqua Singers. Through his music, James explores resilience, connection, and the human experience, creating work that comforts, challenges, and inspires listeners while fostering community.
